These lovely books published in 1891 have recently come into my possession! They are The History of the Temperance Movement and Its Workers, by P T Winskill. All 4 volumes! They are in really good condition for 135 years old! This will boost my lovely collection of old antiquarian books, which now needs more cupboard space! I have developed a website based on my temperance movement research; it’s in its initial phase and will soon include life stories of those who fought for social change and alcohol prohibition, aptly named the ‘demon drink‘.
